Egypt and Israel
To see the land of the Bible, to walk where Jesus walked, as well as to experience the rich life of the Middle East, is an eye-opening experience and will undoubtedly give you a Bible-reading transformation. Passages in the Bible come alive as we see shepherds, rocks, living water, green pastures, wilderness, and the land flowing with milk and honey. Nothing beats seeing the land with experienced Bible teachers.
Dr Lindsay Wilson is Vice-Principal of Ridley Melbourne. Archdeacon Dr Paul Barker is Vicar of Holy Trinity Doncaster and also teaches Old Testament in various colleges. Paul has been to Israel six times, leading five groups. Lindsay has been four times, leading three groups. Both have been to Egypt on more than one occasion.

Deposit and Payment Requirements
$400 deposit per person on registration up till 30 September 2008. $1000 deposit per person or a further $600 deposits for initial registrations to full payment date. Full payment due 60 days prior to departure.

DAY 3: 30 AUGUST 2009 Exodus from Egypt. Drive Cairo to St Catherines Overnight St Catherines.
DAY 4: 31 AUGUST 2009 Visit Mt Sinai & St. Catherine’ s Monastery. Overnight St Catherines or Nuweiba
DAY 5: 1 SEPTEMBER 2009 Crossing to Israel. Rest of day free. Overnight Eilat.
DAY 6: 2 SEPTEMBER 2009 Way of the Wilderness: Timna Park, Tabernacle in the wilderness, Wadi Avdat. Overnight Beersheba
DAY 7: 3 SEPTEMBER 2009 Beersheba, Arad, Jaffa (port, Simon the Tanner’s House) Overnight Tel Aviv

DAY 10: 6 SEPTEMBER 2009 North of Galilee. Visit Hazor, Banias, Tel Dan. View of Mt Hermon and borders with Syria and Lebanon. Overnight Galilee
DAY 11: 7 SEPTEMBER 2009 Around the Sea. Capernaum, Tabgha, Multiplication Church, Mt. of Beatitudes. Boat ride on the sea; Boat at Nof Ginossar. St. Peter’s fish for Lunch. Overnight Galilee
DAY 12: 8 SEPTEMBER 2009 Drive to Beit Shean for visit; view of Jericho; visit Qumran; Wadi Qelt view. Arrive in Jerusalem for a view from the Mt. of Olives. Overnight Jerusalem
DAY 13: 9 SPETEMBER 2009 Jaffa Gate; Citadel Museum; Walk on the Walls; Temple Mount (conditions permitting); Southern Walls excavation; City of David; Warren’s Shaft; Hezekiah’s tunnel; Pool of Siloam. Overnight Jerusalem
DAY 14: 10 SEPTEMBER 2009 Old City. Peter in Gallicantu; Jewish Quarter; Cardo; Lunch at Bethlehem Bible College; visit the Church of the Nativity & Shepherds’s fields. Time for shopping for olive wood. Overnight Jerusalem
